Finished Fold, the flagship

Somebody puts it all away, and there is a method behind every piece

Most services hand you a warm sack and call it done. We walk the house and finish the job: what should hang gets hung, what should be folded goes into the drawer it belongs in, and every child knows which drawer is theirs because it says so on the front.

Hung if it should be hung Button-downs, blouses and dresses go onto matching hangers, hooks all one direction, top button closed, grouped by sleeve length. Knits never touch a hanger, because that is how shoulders get ruined.
Folded into the right drawer Not left in a pile on the bed for you to deal with at nine at night. Boarded folds stand upright so a drawer opens like a filing cabinet and you can see everything without digging.
Kids’ drawers labeled Tees, leggings, pajamas, socks, each drawer marked on the front. A four-year-old can put their own laundry away, and a sitter can find pajamas without texting you.
Ordered by color, every time Tees run light to dark, left to right. Same order this week as last week, so the drawer you opened on Tuesday is the drawer you open next Tuesday.
Color-coded by person One color each, on the stack and on the drawer
Maeve Front bedroom, top two drawers
Declan Back bedroom, labeled fronts
Nora Back bedroom, lower three
Household linens Hall closet, sets bundled
A band around every stack in your color, so nothing is sorted twice and nobody wears a sibling’s leggings to school. Add bands for $12.
$2.19 a pound plus $35, and the house is done Put-away covers the first 45 minutes, which handles most households. One visit up front maps whose dresser is whose, and after that we let ourselves in the way you tell us to.

The House Fold

Every item has one correct treatment and one named failure. Tees are filed to a board so they stand in the drawer. Knits are never hung. Socks that lose a partner come back in an envelope rather than vanishing.

The House Bag

Zippered 600D poly duffel with a stiff base, wrap webbing and a bag number in the ID window. It holds 15 to 30 pounds. A typical week is about 22, or two large baskets. It is rain-capable.

If it will not zip, that is a second bag. Not a Hefty on the side.
